HCL Me Tab X1 and U1
HCL has already tried its hands in the budget tablet market with its Me Tab X1 and U1 but probably could not make its presence felt in the market. Now it seems like it plans to review its position by introducing yet another tablet based on Google’s latest mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Dubbed as HCL Y2, the device is expected to cost Rs. 15,000 and be available in August 2012. The tablet will be not only support Wi-Fi but 3G SIM capabilities too. Some of the other featurs include a 1GHz Arm Cortex A8 processor, 512 MB RAM and access to HCL Me App Store.
